Happy 8th Anniversary
Brady and I celebrated our 8th wedding anniversary yesterday. We had a great time. WE went to Little Rock and stayed at the peabody. It was nice just to get away and be together for awhile with no interuptions. On our way up we stopped off in Pinebluff and ate at Chilis, which happened to be Bradys fav. We went on to LR and checked into our room, which was beautiful. We got settled in and decided to head to Park Plaza for some shopping. We spent a lot more money than we intended to but it was well worth it.After we got back to the hotel we went and ate at the Capriccio grill located in the peabody hotel. We were VERY shocked when we got our food..It was VERY tasty, yet VERY expensive. We speng about 70 dollars a plate, but again it was WELL worth it.After we were done eating and had requested our ticket the waitress walks out with this YUMMY looking dessert. She said that since we were celebrating our 8th anniversary with them the Chef wanted to do something special and it was on the house.Brady had been drinking beer so of course he didn't eat any but I got my munch on! It was the BEST dessert I've ever had. Anywho,Brady got me a jewelry set that I've been wanting.Necklace and earrings. It was so special to me and I love it so much!
We were snugglin' on the bed in our room just talking about how far we've come from when we first got married. We were so young and clueless.Neither one of us had a job or a clue how we were gonna get one.We both worked until I got pregnant with Dalton then I quit my job and became a stay at home MOMMY! Brady has always made sure we had everything we needed and wanted. He's so good to me and to our kids.I couldn't ask for a better husband.God blessed me so much and He has blessed our family so much.I can't wait to see what the next 8 years bring! God is GOOD!
Today before we came home we stopped by Benihanas to eat.It was soo good.BRady had never been before. He said thats his new favorite resturant!!
I hope you all have a blessed and happy new year!

But the cake did taste GOOD!Best tasting cake I've EVER tasted...I make better icing than any that I have ever tasted on a cake..even if I did make it myself! 7 years ago today
At this time 7 years ago I had been at the hospital for over 7 hours. Was in some horrible pain,or what I thought was soooo horrible.I was only 19 years old...Still just a kid. Brady and I would soon be parents and I do believe that scared the both of us.Although,Dalton was a planned baby we were still hit hard with the realization of being ,"parents". We were so anxious to find out the sex of our baby and the whole process was just long and hard. On Wednesday,November 21, 2001 at 5:50 pm after 18 hours of hard hard labor I gave birth to a healthy 9lb 3.5 oz 21.5 in long baby boy. I can't believe that it's been 7 years already. The time has flown by. I am so thankful for my amazing little boy. He's so smart and funny and he's a really great kid! We are a little sad today because daddy couldn't be here but SOON daddy will be home and all will be fine! Tonight I am taking,Dalton out for his favorite supper, which happens to be CHINESE.LOL I don't know why but the kid loves it! I like it too so I don't mind at all! Tomorrow we're having a party so he's all excited about that as well. He just left for school a few minutes ago and he's excited b/c Ms.Savage is going to give him his Birthday Whoopin! LOL He's such a silly kid! He's got the hots for his teacher haha..She is very pretty though so I must say that my son has good taste in women! HAHA So anyway, thats my blog for today:) Happy Happy Joy Joy!

For those of you who don't know
It's very sad that there are really people out there that DO NOT know the TRUE meaning of CHRISTmas. So here it is,The Christmas Story. This is the reason for the season:)
Luke Chapter 1 verses 26 to 38
1:26Now in the sixth month, the angel Gabriel was sent from God to a city of Galilee, named Nazareth, 1:27to a virgin pledged to be married to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David. The virgin's name was Mary. 1:28Having come in, the angel said to her, "Rejoice, you highly favored one! The Lord is with you. Blessed are you among women!"
1:29But when she saw him, she was greatly troubled at the saying, and considered what kind of salutation this might be. 1:30The angel said to her, "Don't be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God. 1:31Behold, you will conceive in your womb, and bring forth a son, and will call his name 'Jesus.' 1:32He will be great, and will be called the Son of the Most High. The Lord God will give him the throne of his father, David, 1:33and he will reign over the house of Jacob forever. There will be no end to his kingdom."
1:34Mary said to the angel, "How can this be, seeing I am a virgin?"
1:35The angel answered her, "The Holy Spirit will come on you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. Therefore also the holy one who is born from you will be called the Son of God. 1:36Behold, Elizabeth, your relative, also has conceived a son in her old age; and this is the sixth month with her who was called barren. 1:37For everything spoken by God is possible."
1:38Mary said, "Behold, the handmaid of the Lord; be it to me according to your word."
Matthew's gospel Chapter 1 verses 18 to 24
1:18Now the birth of Jesus Christ was like this; for after his mother, Mary, was engaged to Joseph, before they came together, she was found pregnant by the Holy Spirit. 1:19Joseph, her husband, being a righteous man, and not willing to make her a public example, intended to put her away secretly. 1:20But when he thought about these things, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, "Joseph, son of David, don't be afraid to take to yourself Mary, your wife, for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit. 1:21She shall bring forth a son. You shall call his name Jesus, for it is he who shall save his people from their sins."
1:22Now all this has happened, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the Lord through the prophet, saying,
1:23"Behold, the virgin shall be with child, And shall bring forth a son.
They shall call his name Immanuel;" Which is, being interpreted, "God with us."
1:24Joseph arose from his sleep, and did as the angel of the Lord commanded him, and took his wife to himself ..
Luke chapter 2 verses 1 to 20
2:1Now it happened in those days, that a decree went out from Caesar Augustus that all the world should be enrolled. 2:2This was the first enrollment made when Quirinius was governor of Syria. 2:3All went to enroll themselves, everyone to his own city. 2:4Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth, into Judea, to the city of David, which is called Bethlehem, because he was of the house and family of David; 2:5to enroll himself with Mary, who was pledged to be married to him as wife, being pregnant.
2:6It happened, while they were there, that the day had come that she should give birth. 2:7She brought forth her firstborn son, and she wrapped him in bands of cloth, and laid him in a feeding trough, because there was no room for them in the inn. 2:8There were shepherds in the same country staying in the field, and keeping watch by night over their flock. 2:9Behold, an angel of the Lord stood by them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified. 2:10The angel said to them, "Don't be afraid, for behold, I bring you good news of great joy which will be to all the people. 2:11For there is born to you, this day, in the city of David, a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. 2:12This is the sign to you: you will find a baby wrapped in strips of cloth, lying in a feeding trough." 2:13Suddenly, there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying,
2:14"Glory to God in the highest, On earth peace, good will toward men."
2:15It happened, when the angels went away from them into the sky, that the shepherds said one to another, "Let's go to Bethlehem, now, and see this thing that has happened, which the Lord has made known to us." 2:16They came with haste, and found both Mary and Joseph, and the baby was lying in the feeding trough. 2:17When they saw it, they publicized widely the saying which was spoken to them about this child. 2:18All who heard it wondered at the things which were spoken to them by the shepherds. 2:19But Mary kept all these sayings, pondering them in her heart. 2:20The shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things that they had heard and seen, just as it was told them.
Matthew's gospel chapter 2 verses 1 to 12
2:1Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea in the days of Herod the king, behold, wise men from the east came to Jerusalem, saying, 2:2"Where is he who is born King of the Jews? For we saw his star in the east, and have come to worship him." 2:3When Herod the king heard it, he was troubled, and all Jerusalem with him. 2:4Gathering together all the chief priests and scribes of the people, he asked them where the Christ would be born. 2:5They said to him, "In Bethlehem of Judea, for thus it is written through the prophet,
2:6'You Bethlehem, land of Judah, Are in no way least among the princes of Judah:
For out of you shall come forth a governor, Who shall shepherd my people, Israel.'"
2:7Then Herod secretly called the wise men, and learned from them exactly what time the star appeared. 2:8He sent them to Bethlehem, and said, "Go and search diligently for the young child. When you have found him, bring me word, so that I also may come and worship him."
2:9They, having heard the king, went their way; and behold, the star, which they saw in the east, went before them, until it came and stood over where the young child was. 2:10When they saw the star, they rejoiced with exceedingly great joy. 2:11They came into the house and saw the young child with Mary, his mother, and they fell down and worshiped him. Opening their treasures, they offered to him gifts: gold, frankincense, and myrrh. 2:12Being warned in a dream that they shouldn't return to Herod, they went back to their own country another way.

Christmas and such
Dalton, has been telling me for months now that he wanted a Wii for Christmas.I had my mind set on getting him one and then decided against it and had planned out everything that he was going to get. Now,if you know me you know that we go kind of crazy for Christmas! It's what we enjoy. The looks on our kids faces on Christmas morning when they see all of those presents and start tearing into them,it's just PRICELESS! Anyway, back to the Wii I had my mind set.I had talked to a friend about it and told her my plans to buy him the Nintendo DS instead that way he could get more stuff.Well, today I walked into walmart for toilet paper and came out with a Wii!! I got so excited just knowing that he is going to be soo thrilled when he opens it! Needless to say,I forgot the toilet paper and have been using sandpaper(paper towels) lol because I didn't feel like driving all the way back to McGehee to go to Walmart.I've gotten quite a bit of my Christmas shopping done.I still have to get hubby's but I know exactly what he's getting so it's just a matter of going and picking it all up.Kayleigh is just getting all sorts of different Disney Princess,Dora,My little pony etc etc stuff.Theres so much to choose from for her. It's so much fun.I am super excited about tomorrow. As all of you know we have the suckiest places to shop around southeast Arkansas. It's really pretty sad that it's at least 2 hours to the closest GOOD mall.I'm going up to Littlerock to shop tomorrow.Go ahead and knock the kids stuff out so I can focus on the hubby. He's getting a pretty big Christmas this year.I so think he deserves it!I'm pretty pumped about going to Toys R Us tomorrow.I just get so excited lol.I guess I'm just a big kid anyway! Hey they are only little once why not spoil them.I'd spend every penny I had on my kids just to see that smile on their face!! They are so worth it!!

Halloween Night
I posted a blog about NOT wanting to do Halloween.I've never been big on Halloween.I think it's the stupidest holiday,IF you can even call it that.Anyway, mom loves to see the kids dressed up so we did Halloween this year.We only went to 2 aunts houses and a family friend and Grannys house,of course! It wasn't a HUGE ordeal but at least they got to go.They were both not real interested in it and by the 3rd house Kayleigh was asleep lol. Mamaw got to see them all dressed up and got to give them candy so thats what matters:)Just thought I'd share a few pics:)

Deployment Pillow
I wanted a keepsake from this deployment to remind me of the day to day HELL we went through for over a year and to remind me of how incredibly strong we are as a couple.i thought about it and thought about it and came up with this idea.I have a cafepress shop so I make custom things for myself all of the time.I decided that a pillow would be a neat little keepsake and something that I would look at all the time so I will never forget,so to speak. I really like the way it turned out. I know I talk about my husband a lot and this deployment but this man is all I've known since I was 18.To go from waking up next to him every single day for 7 years to only having an "online" relationship can really take a toll on a marriage. We know so many couples who didn't make it.We know so many that their partners have cheated etc.Our love is so amazing. It cannot be explained. We are each others everything. We are stuck up each others butts all the time.We don't need alone time or time away from each other.Even if it's a simple trip to the grocery store,we're together! I love this man with everything that I am.He is my soulmate and I thank God every single day for sending me the most amazing man ever! Anyway, now that I've rambled on...lol...Let me know what you think of my pillow:)

So Proud
I figured out the timer on the camera LOL So we took a picture for daddy! He loved it!I think it turned out pretty cute too!! Today was parent teacher conference at school.Dalton got straight A's on his report card and OUTSTANDING conduct! I am so proud of my little boy! He works VERY hard! His teacher told me that he is BY FAR her best student both academically and behavior wise! I was so proud to hear that. The whole conference lasted about 3 mins. She said,I just don't have much to say.No complaints at all it is truly a joy teaching,Dalton! Brady, says we should reward him for his hard work so he thinks we should give him 10 dollars per A and 5 dollars per credit...so I guess Dalton will be racking up! LOL Anyway, that's about it for today:) God Bless
